I live in: Camden, London, UK.

Date of birth: 28th September 1991

I like: Indie and Japanese comics, all kinds of animation, black coffee, winter and pubs/bars.

I don’t like: Insects, lifts and Snowmen.

Favorite Films are: The breakfast club, Sin City, Napoleon Dynamite, Hackers and Howl’s Moving Castle.

Favorite Games are: Phoenix Wright, Pokémon Gold, Animal Crossing and the GBC Zeldas.

Favorite Cartoons/shows: FLCL, Gurren Laggan, House, CSI, Law and Order and Friends.

Basically, I: Draw comics, make pixel art for games and experiment with different mediums of art.

At the moment, I am: Working part time at The Sir Richard Steeles Pub in Camden and I am a student at City and Islington doing an Art and Design BTEC.

I use: Pencil, pens, water colours, Photoshop, Flash, Spray Paint. Sometimes I dabble in photography.

In the past I have:

• Done a street sign project with William Ellis School.
• Enrolled for an Art BTEC at Westminister Kingsway
• Done a weeks work experience with Evidently.

Current Projects I am working on:

• Hellbound (name subject to change), an RPG that started as an Earthbound fan game but is turning into a completely original game with graphics/plot made by me.
• Project Cecil, a comic that will hopefully be started in the near future. (Concept art and story is completed).

In the future I hope to:

• Have my own comic released.
• Work in animation, advertising or anything that heavily involves art.
• Maybe run a pub in London.

Hywel Griffiths: Games Journalist Extraordinaire

I live in: Finsbury Park, London, UK.

Date of birth: 18^th January 1992

I like: Music – from Metal to Ska – I’ll listen to anything once, Comics, Stand-up Comedy, and Playing Drums.

I don’t like: Slapstick Comedy, Idiots, and Pointless online abbreviations (as in u, instead of you, it’s only 2 letters, dipshit.).

Favorite Films are: A Scanner Darkly, Castle of Cagliostro, Tropic Thunder, and In Bruges.

Favorite Games are: Phoenix Wright, Jet Set Radio, Rock Band 2, and Chrono Trigger.

Favorite Cartoons/shows: Futurama, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Mock the Week, Samurai Champloo.

Basically, I: Write Games reviews, I’ve been doing it for a while, so I guess I should be getting better at it.

At the moment, I am: Doing English Literature, Media and Drama A-levels at La Swap College in Tufnell Park. I also play drums in folk noir/alternative band, Fauntleroy.

I use: Microsoft word and a keyboard… Oh, right, games consoles too…

In the past I have:

• Written reviews for Xbox 360 based website, Gamertag Nation
• Taken lessons in Tap dancing for 4 years, no joke.
• Not worked a day in my life…

Current Projects I am working on:

• Fauntleroy’s debut EP.
• Getting into University.
• Game reviews for Gamertag Nation.

In the future I hope to:

• Study Journalism at University.
• Work at a Game based magazine or website, where I’ll actually get paid to write reviews.
• Get known as a drummer and be able to live off of music.
